FrameX Extended Frames enhances RPG Maker MZ's sideview battler system by providing greater control over animation frames. This plugin allows customization of the number of frames, and supports ping-pong looping animations resulting in smoother and more dynamic character animations.
This plugin modifies the sideview battlers for RPG Maker MZ to support:
- Custom frame count instead of the default 3.
- Ping-pong effect for idle animations.
- Customizable frame speed.
- Notetag to use default frames for specific actors and enemies.
- Individual settings for specific actors and enemies.
Custom Frame Amount
Ping-pong effect for idle or other looping animations
The Ping-pong effect is basically an option that lets the user have the idle or other looping animations loop in the pattern as 1,2,3,2,1 instead of 1,2,3,1,2,3
Custom Frame Speed
Notetags
Use <DefaultFrames> in actor or enemy notes to make that character use the default 3 frames and 12 frame speed.
Individual Settings Per Actor/Enemy
The plugin accesses the database of your project so you can input custom number of frames per Actor/Enemy.

So i got Mz yesterday what are some good pic ratios to use for the plugin i want to the Chanters to fit big portion of the screen what would you recommend

I assume there are 5 frames per motion, correct? You simply set the number of frames in my plugin as 5 and then maybe 8 or 9 on the frame speed.
ok ill give that a try but also I do want the chacters to but bigger any advice on that ??
so this one motion it the idle animation. what would you recommend i do should take away less frames and i want the charter to be visibly bigger on the screen i changed the height to 384 h x 96 height and still got this and i changed the speed to what u suggested
Hi, this is definitely not an error from my plugin. My plugin does not have nor does it use an image called "ButtonSet"
can this be used for mv as well or is strickly mz?

Yes! It's compatible with VIsustella plugins and also yes, you can use Action Sequences as well. Proven and tested with a bunch of Visustella plugins in 1 project.
Does this allow for custom motions beyond the 18 engine ones?
Unfortunately no, although that sounds like a good feature to add. Which I might add in by the next time I update this.
